Brinkworth Earl Danby’s CE Primary School

“Believe to Achieve”

Headteacher's welcome

Brinkworth Earl Danby’s CE Primary School is located in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, in the villages of Brinkworth and Dauntsey. It is equidistant between Malmesbury and Royal Wootton Bassett, and is easily accessible from Lyneham, Chippenham and Hullavington.

We are proud to have recently been rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted (December 2018), who recognised that our ‘effective teaching promotes pupil progress’ in line with our school ethos of ‘Believe to Achieve’.  All of our staff work closely together to create a happy and caring environment so that children can develop their individual skills, becoming confident and motivated young people.

Brinkworth Earl Danby’s Christian values and the needs of our children are central to all our decision-making. We encourage participation in a wide range of extra-curricular activities and residential trips, with several sports clubs and music tuition on offer, including play therapy and music therapy.  We are also lucky to have our own kitchen and professional catering staff who cook nutritious hot lunches. Our parents say that we are “A caring, inclusive, highly professional school that consistently goes the extra mile.”

We have close links with excellent before and after school clubs, ensuring that wrap around care is available to support our parents. We also have positive relationships with our local pre-schools, one of which runs a weekly session in our school.

We currently have spaces across our school and would love to welcome you to Brinkworth Earl Danby’s CE Primary School.
