Brinkworth Earl Danby’s School Association is the school’s PTA. We are a group of parent volunteers who come together to put on events and activities for children, parents and the village and we raise much needed additional funds that benefit all our children now and in the future.
Money raised helps buy additional books, craft material, sports and play equipment such as the Mud Kitchen, classroom IT equipment and helps subsidise the cost of school trips and external organisations that visit to enhance learning.
Fundraising comes from a range of events; some just for the children like the regular school discos and film nights; some for the whole family like the end of year summer BBQ. We also run a recycling scheme and raise funds via organisations like Label Planet, Boiler Juice and Easy Fundraising.
We have great partnerships with voluntary organisations such as the Brinkworth Sports & Heritage Society and we often come together to support each other for the village, church and community events.
We are all parents at the school and always need new members and would love more people to get involved.
If you would like to join us or know more about us, either email us or speak to one of us in the playground.
